3:31 We gave you all some homework last week. We gave you some homework. You know, you gotta start. You know you had to, you know, so we want to see how that's going. But we're gonna get into that in a minute. I want to give you some heads up and we gotta pray. You gotta start. You gotta continue to pray, and God has homework for you. All any issues or questions you're still having about certain things, you got to go after the scripture. Now you got to get in your word. Google is your best friend. All you have to do is fake. You could write in the search bar scriptures on the power of the tongue. And they'll come up. So there's no reason why you can't find the scriptures.

4:13 You don't have to do the old fashioned way like Pastor I used to do back in the day, to go to the dictionary, go to the contents page. And try to find the scripture and all that. No, Google is your best. Friend, and it's the quickest way. So that's what God wants you guys to do. Starts you got to go to the scriptures. Now, go to the scriptures and see what His words say. Because I know in my growth and on my faith walk, seeing as I continue to study the Bible. And as I've told you all before, I've studied the Bible. I read it through four years, four years in a row, right behind one another. Same way. I didn't know about good evening Misty. I didn't know about the There.

4:54 Was no one year Bible at that time. I didn't That was not the daily Word that told you you how that tells. You how you can read the Bible in the year. I just read, you know, one scripture in Genesis, one in Psalms, one in Proverbs, and won in New Testament in Matthew. And it was the word as I studied my word. I saw the power that I have as a believer, as a child of God, if I never let them go. I that's where I got my power. That's where I got my knowledge. That's why today you know, anybody can step in front of me and you could try to change the words around and change what try to convince yourself that you know how God thinks and all that you're just wasting your breath. Because I've studied the word, and the word will set you free. The word the Bible will teach you, like I said, your power, your authority, Okay, what you and and then it rests you could be rest assured that God's got you. Jesus got you, the Holy Spirit got you. They got you because they already know the ending of the story. Everybody, whether you are a believer or not.

No. I went from like I said, first Genesis one, Psalms one, Proverbs one, Matthew one. And I got through it in a year. I wasn't trying to get through it. In a year because I'm taking notes at the same time, I'm taking notes, I'm getting revelation. Go ahead. Also in the back of depending on the Bible, you get. The Bible. In the back of the Bible, they'll even give you a one year guide to be able to complete the Bible in one year. So if you want to start, and you want to start in your own pace, go to the back of the Bible, and you will see a breakdown of what to read on what day so you can be able to complete it.

6:56 Amen, any Bible in a Christian bookstore, don't go to the one at Walmart. Don't buy a Bible from the day the Family Dollar. Please don't do that because they're missing chapters. I already know that to be true, So please go to a Christian bookstore and get your Bible that way. Okay, But he also wants you to download your favorite Christian songs, gospel Christian songs and have your own playlist on that. And I don't know why. I don't know the why of this, and I don't ask God this. I just do it. And he gave y'all that homework I do. I will do the same. And Amen, because he's giving some specific instructions right now, because I don't I guess he don't want us to hear the noise that's gonna be going on outside of us.

Get in your car and put your headphones on, or go home and put your headphones on. Don't do it. Don't do it because there are people who are just. I usually close out and I do the prayer, the closing prayer, And. As I was I was doing that, God was showing me, interjected pictures of somebody's kitchen and their cupboards are there, and I and the refrigerator. I said, no, y'all need to y'all you need to have hurricane stuff. Y'all need to have pallets of water. You need to have can goods. You need to have peanuts and tunic fici or crackers or whatever. You gotta have stuff. I mean, this is where God is at now. I'm literally praying to close out our session, and He's showing me the kitchen and I'm saying what I'm seeing, and I described the door, the cabinet knobs, just the case they didn't realize.

9:21 I'm in your kitchen. God's in your kitchen. And I said, if anybody needs something, you know, let me know, let me know. I'll send a seed, let me know. Please, let me know. You know better, you know better. We give you all. You know. We're giving you information and stuff like that. The hurricane supplies no sales tax, school supplies no sales tax down here in Florida. Every state that's represented out here. You all should have an idea of that as well. Okay, so you can help somebody along the way or at least be it. And no sales tax is no joke. I'm telling you, I don't know what the other state sales tax. We're six point five here. I'm telling you not to have to pay sales tax. It's heaven. It's beautiful. It's a beautiful thing, and it makes a difference.

I went to get my car, uh my oil changed on one day last week, and then my air condition wasn't working. It wasn't getting cool enough, and I figured it was free on so doing well, thank you for you. See, I know, I feel I know people who need prayers. Okay, okay, and get right on it. You don't have to ask them anymore. You don't ask I have to ask them for specifics. Okay, what's going on? God? And you, when you start praying, the Holy Spirit will direct you. You could just say, Lord, I'm praying for my my co host tonight. Father God, you know who they are.

11:32 You know what they need, Father God. And next thing, you know, God. He know, say pray this for trade, pray this for pastor, you know, prays for rebel. You know he'll do he'll do that, He'll take over. Because I don't want to know. Most of the time, I don't know what people are going through. But me, I'm gonna get back to at the car dealership. Anyway, My daughter. A few months back, she took her car into hurt her brother's car and to have their oil change. And this a little slip thing. It's been a busy long few days. Yeah, I'm hearing that, mickey. It slowed up. Time slowed up this week. I don't know if anybody experienced that. But when you when you. Looked at the clock, it was one time, and then you look back at the clock, you thought an hour had passed by only twenty minutes thirty minutes. So it's like, wait a minute, I think that clock is wrong, you know, but clock, I mean time will slow up sometimes, you know, for you and I know that this week I experienced that.

12:30 But anyway, so there's a little slip of pay, a little noticed by the cashier the checkout area at the dealership that if the if your technician don't tell you about the survey and encourage you to complete our survey, you'll get ten percent. Off your next service. So I'm like, okay. So I took a picture of it and everything, and I was waiting for the service guy. He's standing there and talking about this weekend and everything else. I'm just waiting here to talk about the survey and never mentioned it. I never mentioned it either, so uh, And they have a contact person name on there. So I contacted a young lady. I presume this a young lady and she didn't email me back. So I sent the email again, and we'd like to know what's this about. Can we get a refund or can we get ten percent? Or do we get a check?

13:17 What we're doing? And so she finally said, oh so sorry, I said, plus they I also once I finally she replied, I said, they also parked my daughter's car in the back. Thank goodness. I was with her. But it's in the back, y'all. Don't have security there. I know also know people who should be prayed for and people who should find prayer themselves. Okay, misty, there you go, there you go, there you go. Thank you, thank you, because I know we're not praying. You're still doing the same thing. We're not remote control, we're not robots. You don't just feed me information anytime you get ready. And you live a life, any kind of life, you and treat people the way you wanted to be treated.

13:57 So no, we're not doing that, thank you, ma'am. I appreciate that. So I also. Complained about that. Well, I complained about that part. So the lady said, well, you know, we'll work with you, blah blah blah. Never heard back from her, and everything nothing nothing, nothing, nothing, I said. So I said, God, Now I don't know how you want me to handle this. It's in writing. We should be able to get a response, and I don't what you want me to do. So God was quiet, he didn't respond to me and say, okay, next thing I know. Two weeks later, I get an email. They're under new management. I said, oh boy, in the words of Michael Jordan's daddy in the movie Oh here we go, Here we go. And so I had to go in and get my own. I saw the new manager general manager's name. So I forwarded the email that I forwarded to the young lady, and he forwarded to his right hand guy, and he immediately responded, Miss Gray, we are so sorry for that.

15:03 You let us know. Anytime you all are back in service, we will deal. We will, we will, we will get you. We will get you. A discount discount on your services. So the Lord reminded me, I've been working on getting people out who are being negative in my life, Missy. Yes, yes, yes, And it don't take much. It don't take much. Just don't answer the call, don't return the text, just don't take off. Well. I tried to call, you know, I ain't get your I ain't getting nothing. I ain't getting nothing. I got a new phone, I got No don't want you to lie. So no, I got it. But I didn't think there was anything to say. I know, y'all not bold like I am.

15:45 But I can go there. I'm at that point now I can go there. So it makes the life feel lighter. Thank you, missy. I was gonna ask you, how did you feel? How do you feel? So I emailed the gentlemen before I left the other morning and I let him know I'm coming back because I had to make an appointment for my AC and. He emails me back. It's like eight, just a little after eight in the morning. He's already in the office. He said, no problem is great. You tell them the page mean when you get here, I'm look okay, And long story short, very nice young man came right out and he said, I know other people, the more you read, the better you feel. Yes, and it's gonna get better, Misty. Watch watch it's gonna get better.

16:40 There's blessings that's been held up because God he knows, he knows your heart. He know you would have been, you know, just handing it out to everybody. Now that you're unloading it, watch what he's gonna do. He's gonna just blessings are just just wait. Don't you. And you're gonna testify. You're gonna tell us you go, You're gonna tell us you won't believe this. Yes we will, Yes we will. So look at the favor and the man I drove up. He said, I'm gonna get a technician. I'm gonna get a person for a service person for you, and we're gonna put your car straight through. I said no. He said, well, we've got well the first person came by. I said, well, we got cars that's been waiting for like two days to get service. I said, oh god, here comes the general manager's assistant. He said, no, we put I got some I'll get one person on your car.

17:23 I don't want you to have to wait too long. Because he took a. Look at it. I said, oh, I didn't want for that. I don't need to jump ahead. I'm not in a hurry. My day is I could spend the day with y'all. Y'all got free water. I'm good, you know, and he said, no, man, they don't keep you here long and sure enough, long story, but I had to tell all of the service people walked. Right by me, no I can. I mean, I ain't mean for eye contact, but nothing. I said, Oh, and I said, I need to suggest something to you, sir, I said in the next staff, meaning lener staff know they need to smile at the customers. We're already I have been telling people to listen to this show so they can learn, like I'm running, thank you this deeed. We know they're there, they're watching. They aren't gonna say anything, but we know they're watching.

18:09 But I said, no, they need to smile at people because we're already coming in here. We don't know what you're gonna charge us. Most of our cars may not be under warranty. You don't know what we're going through. He said, you're right. He said, okay, so we'll stop it. I said, no, no, don't stop. Make sure as you passed by, just say good morning, because we'll stop you in your track and everybody will have eight service people on one car, so don't do that. Just say good morning. You don't have to make eye contact, but at least acknowledge me. And not because I said, sir, you don't even know what your people are going through, your. Employee employees, he said, And he looked down and he said, you're right. I said, yeah, we gotta be sensitive because we're gonna have that one person come in here, angry, mad whatever, read to complain, ready to throw the car back at y'all. Come on, you know, so we can if you start out smiling and say good morning everybody, it could make a difference.

Thank you on the station. Yeah, the change is that's the only way you could do it. I'm in the process of writing my fourth book now, and it's about what has happened to me in the last over the past six years. And I kept talking about change. I kept talking about change, thank God. Before I went into the hospital, I was a person of faith, Thank God. I was a person that Okay, God, you got me, and this is on you, Jesus. However, I'm gonna look as they as my limbs started to amputate self amputate. They looking at you, sir. They ain't looking at me.

One of the things that I have learned, yeah, absolutely absolutely, And I can't tell you country see that what you just basically touched on is is so essential and so key in our day to day life. There's just so much anger out there. And Miss Gray's been talking about this for quite some time now, and it seems like whatever little thing is going to set people off to go off the deep end real quickly. And that's why I studied a gentleman by the name of

21:24 Jim Rohan, and he is He's a motivational speaker. He said something and I heard it for the first time in two thousand and four, so let me just throw it out there when I first heard it, and he said, for things to change, we have to change. And I found that to be so key, because we can't change people, we can change ourselves. And when we change ourselves, making the first step, and this way you are walking your walk, talking your talk, and being able to demonstrate what it is to be a changed person. And since I've heard that, and since I've run into my challenges, beginning in twenty eleven, when I was confronted with the Lord, I needed to make some changes. When I started making those changes, I became happier, I was less frustrated. Yes, yes, that is correct, because Mickey, you are so correct on that, because it's so easy to be negative difficult to be positive. I

22:56 learned that when you frown, you use thirty nine muscles in your face, but when you smile, you use seven, So you work twice as hard to be angry and frustrated, but it takes less muscles to smile, so kind of kind of a deep learning there. Be nice is tough, but in the end, in the end, you become happier because you may have affected that one person. And if you can affect one person a day, how many lives can you really change a matter of a smile, have a nice day, or bless you or hope you have a great day, because that really will make a difference.

23:54 And it all begins with you, all begins with you. You to me, that is so essential about speaking life with a different approach so you can get different results. Now you redefine the word insanity. Wow, So. I read so many things and you know, coming across the screen from our audience and listening to you Pastor and you miss Gray. But this is the same thing that I that I say, you know, treating people the way I want to be treated. And there's some people that are negative and miserable with whatever goes on in their life, and so you can't control what they do, but you can control what you do or how you respond to it. And so I try to model mirror you know, smile, greet people because you know, you never know somebody that Sometimes I greeting folks and say hello, there was hello, But it just takes something simple as that or smile or not.

25:11 How are you. I hope your day is going well. When I send emails to people or text, I try to say. Hi, how are you? I hope your day is going well, because some people's days aren't. 25:52 Yeah, So try just trying to There are people who are are miserable. There are people that just have things going on in their life and they don't know how to handle it. And it could be anything, you know, medical issues that can affect your mental health, mental issues that can affect your medical health, and so finances, you know, unemployment, underemployment, risk of homelessness. The list goes on, grief and loss. And so you know, those are some of the minors, you know, the common things that occur across the board. You know, people you never know. I'm so glad I'm here. Oh wow, it was a new wow, new viewer. I didn't catch the name. I didn't see it went by too fast, Savel, savel, All right, great, welcome.

And so, getting back to what I was saying, that it's just a pleasantness, you know, pleasantry to other folks, and you know, you might dish out something positive and get something back negative, but just keep it moving. You know, you did your part, and so long as you know that you've done what you're supposed to do, the rest of it is just irrelevant. And so yeah, just try to stay positive. And sometimes you have to move folks out the way. Sometimes you just have to close the door for a little bit. Sometimes you have to close the door permanently, permanently, so you know, you'll know and you'll start to feel your life change, your shifts. It's a while I didn't notice that person was really just a damper on me, and I didn't realize how much it was having an impact on me.

27:37 So and my dad used to have a saying, feel your own miserable fires, you know, So I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna fuel it with you that's what you want to do. I'm not going to join and be part of that. And so you have to know when to say when as well. Amen. I was listening to a new gentleman that was teaching, and he said, he was interviewing your former Yes, ma'am, thank you for. The welcome baky spelled. And he was interview viewing a woman that was formerly a witch. Uh. And it was very and it was I. Mean, she's, you know, she's giving her life to Christ and she's trying to get every last one whoever she's assigned to, you know, but she's telling all she told a lot of stuff.

28:21 But he mentioned he said, grief is seasonal, not. Cyclical, and we're gonna, we're gonna we'll expand on that at another time, but grief should not be cyclical. It should be seasonal, and we deal with it if we deal with it accordingly in that season instead. Of dragging it over and dragging it over. You all don't know how many phone calls I've gotten in the last since the last time we were on women getting cancer, and I'm like, what And I just had to go immediately and just pray. But back at the car dealership, my brother called me from Germany. And most of you may not know, but he is gay.

29:05 He is married to his husband and they live in Germany. They just got back from their two week vacation. And he says to me, Now, my family name is Lisa. So anybody, my biological or my family that I was raised around, will call me Lisa. If I'm back home in Palm Beach County and I hear Lisa, I'm gonna look. But if you call me. Lisa in Orlando, I don't look because I have no family here. So he calls, he said Lis. I said, hey, how is your trip? He said, no, right now, I don't need Lisa my sister. I need Lisa the prayer warrior, he said, because I'm about to cut somebody.

29:46 And my brother he. Don't fight, he don't fight nothing, you know. I was like, I said, okay, you know what. I don't know where this is gonna go, but we're praying right now. I prayed right there in the dealership, in the life, prayed. Right there for him. Didn't know what to pray. I just said God be with him and whatever else, whatever else, whatever else. And that was it. And he said, he said, you know, when I called you, I was laying in the bed, but when you started to talk, I got to my knees. Is he doing okay? Yeah? We had prayers for him. His name is Randy. Always we could always use prayer, but here crawl. He rolled off the bed, he. Said, onto his knees, and we finished a conversation. He stayed on his knees and I said, okay. He said, well it's gone. God lifted it. He said what he said, I'm done. I said, you know, and some things that happened with his work and stuff like that, And I said, Randy, that's.

30:42 Always Remember what I've taught you is that your that is that is that your party? Is that your problem? Is that your issue? Did you cause that? Did you cause your your your your McDonald's location to all of a sudden decide to get some renovations and not sending our email to y'all. Saying don't come back for two weeks because we're under renovation. Is that your fault? Did they talk about that with you before? Is that that's not your battle? I said, look, baby, brother, learn what your battle is. That's not your fight. You got two weeks off. I hope you get paid for those two weeks and not enjoy. We can figure the house, do something, but.

31:26 You're off for another week. But for you to get angry or you to get mad, hope we'll be okay. Yes, I have rand in my prayers, thank you, missy. Yeah. But my whole point was it didn't matter where I was. This was a soul crying out for prayer. And I think we're gonna see more of that, y'all. You're gonna be at the dollar store, You're gonna be in publics and somebody is gonna be all but crying. And if you could just say, can I pray for you? I don't need to know what. Let me just pray for you. Please give them peace, and God will give you the words to say. But this is where we're going, guys, this is where we're heading, and you all got to be ready for the harvest.

32:12 You've got to be ready for the harvest. So that's why God is cleaning us up first before we get exposed to the harvest, because we can't tell the harvest what we've been through. They can't handle that. I've had many people. Who think that you know, or you're a leader, You're strong, and I'm like, well, thank you, but I'm human. I'm ten percent though I'm ten percent, but I'm still human. Now I have better sense. I stay away from people. I've been able to be able. To do that. I'm not answering the phone if I am, really, I don't know what's gonna come out of my mouth. Boy, I want to answer the phone. I can stay away from y'all. And back when I used to work for people, I was employed by people.

32:53 I use my sick days for that. Now I know we can't do that anymore because things have changed over the last thirty years. I get that. So as I'm driving, I was taking myself my biggest son, my oldest son to work Sunday morning, and I said, I got to do something different. I got to stop having these explosions in my road rage inside by car because first of all, my shub is tinted, so you don't even see me thrashing my hands saying please stop. You know, we're at a traffic light here, so my windows are up so only the occupants inside can hear what I'm saying. And I said, you know what, And I was smiling. I was laughing because the Holy Spirit is running this down. And me said, You're gonna have to stop you. You can't look at that rear view mirror.

33:39 You got the change, You got the change. And I said, you know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna smile. I'm gonna smile. And do you know how hard it was to drive and smile of all people who can make anybody laugh, for me to. To get him to and then to get it back. I mean, then it go home. I had. I smiled, but I chose to change because I'm wasting my words. I'm wasting my energy. It's not gonna tap into those people. So what best. What's the better thing to do? Pray for pray for them instead of using words that are not nice. And speaking of using words, I'm not one to use profanity all the time.

34:29 Take my glasses off so you can see my eyes. I am not one, but a word or two will slip out. I am tempersent human and I kid you not. Sunday morning again, before I even left it, before I'm getting up, I'm getting text a word, I'm getting a biblical word, the Bible talking about using your mouth because it's it depicts what's in your heart. It depicts what's in your heart. And I don't mean any harm. Even my twins have told me many times, you don't sound right using a profane word. I don't know what that means, though I really don't. This is no. You don't sellarize it. But your daddy didn't. Yeah, but that was him. That's not you.

35:12 And I'm like, okay, but I got whipped on Sunday about my mouth. And I get it. And like I said, then later on, I got in the car taking. Sundays to work and I'm smiling. I said, I gotta do I gotta do this, and I smiled purposely coming home by myself and had my gospel music playing. So what changes are you all doing now? And you don't have to discuss them right now, but not's that next step? Now? Is what are the changes? What are commit that's the commitment. This is not New Year's resolutions. This is life altering change.

One of the things that I have been teaching my children is that when we bless the blessing is complete when we bless others. Okay, so, and kind of in line to what you're saying. When we pray to God and we are placing our petitions, we're asking for God and he gives it to us, what we're supposed to do is we are to return it back to the Lord with interest, returning it back to the Lord better than he gave it to us. So what we must work on is that when we are praying, we are being thankful, thanking the Lord for the opportunity to come to him. And when we want to return the blessing to the Lord with value, we do not want to return God's word with being voided. And I guess what I'm trying to say is that you don't want to

37:26 give back to God empty handed. You want to be grateful. You want to be thankful what he gave you. You want to give it back with joy because you gave it to someone else. And that is how it all. That's how it all kind of intertwines with each other. And another terminology which more people are familiar with, pay it forward. You want to pay it forward, and you will see when you have hated it forward. You don't know what's going to happen to what's going to happen to that other person's life. But you did your part.
